My Journey
I just started this website, 100% for fun. I have always been an observer of people and love to learn about and from people. I was introduced to the Myers Briggs Personality Test when I was 12 and began to use it and other tests and batteries to organize the observations and knowledge I had in my head about people and personalities all around me. I hope you enjoy this content.
My Philosophy on Personality
My oldest sister once said: "people are three dimensional beings, personality tests (like the MBTI) are a two dimensional picture of that person." Not everyone likes personality tests. Some find them boxing and limiting. Others doubt their veracity. I like them for what they are: a (typically) simple tool that gives us a window into a complex person's inner being and thought processes. When I approach a person's personality, I do so to understand and empathize, not to limit or pigeonhole.
My Expertise
I am not expert in psychology or personality. But I have been studying and using the MBTI and other tests for over a decade to learn more about those around me. I also pepper everyone with questions.
