Whenever anyone sees a purple lightsaber they think of Mace Windu. A fearsome duelist and dominant Master of the Order, Mace Windu commanded much respect throughout the Republic. Unlike Yoda's laid-back approach, Windu took a much more active role in leading the Order, although ultimately as a guardian of it's dogma and tradition, rather than allowing new ideas to flourish. In this way, Windu was a quintessential ESTJ.
As I have stated many times, Jedi often meditated to balance their emotions and seek the will of the Force, and Windu was no exception. However, Windu was dominant in his social interactions and served as the face and voice of the Jedi Order. He often led delegations of Jedi to political events and meetings, and led the Council meetings. Windu was never shy to give his opinion and liked to make an entrance, whether his well-known arrival at the arena on Geonosis or into Chancellor Palpatine's office to confront the Sith Lord.
Unlike his Master counterpart, Windu was less interested in focusing his attention on the Force and letting it guide him, and more keen to involve himself in the politics and events of the day. While he did not care for politics itself or the corruption running rampant in the Senate, Windu was very much involved in the workings of the Republic and the decisions made within the Order. As stated before, his adherence to dogma and tradition prevented Windu from entertaining the thoughts or behavior of more unorthodox Jedi.
While not evil, Windu was cold and very comfortable handling conflict situations. He was adept at communicating negative opinions and shutting down discussions. More than most Jedi, Windu had the mental and emotional fortitude to make very difficult and morally-questionable decisions for the "good" of the Order.
As stated above, Windu was very active in managing the Order and its response to the events unfolding around it. He used the power of his position often to unilaterally make decisions on behalf of the Council, and was often not open to conflicting opinions. He preferred to take control of a situation rather than watch it play out.
I believe that Windu survived the fall out of the window of Sidious' office. I would love to see more of his character and hope that SLJs comments on Colbert are precursors to a Windu series or film that explains what he has been doing since his duel with Palpatine. There are plenty of places that need administrative-type leaders like Windu, and he did his best to defend the Order that he loved so much.
